Retractable Fly Screen FAQs
These answers cover the questions customers most often need to resolve before ordering a custom screen. For a specific opening, compare the relevant product page with the Measure & Fit guide and contact us if the dimensions or fixing surface are unusual.
Are the screens made to measure?
Yes. The active door, window, patio and garage products use height and width fields on the product page. Enter valid dimensions in millimetres to see the calculated price before adding the item to cart.
Which screen type should I choose?
Choose by opening type and operating direction. Roller screens store mesh in a cassette, pleated screens fold as they retract, and folding accordion systems stack as panels. Use pull-across products where side space is available and pull-down products where vertical operation is more practical.
Can I order screens for double or French doors?
Yes. The store has double-door roller, pleated and folding products. Confirm that the finished opening falls within the minimum and maximum values shown on the selected product page.
How is the custom price calculated?
The product calculator uses the dimensions entered on the page and the selected product's base rate. The displayed amount updates after both valid measurements are entered.
How should I measure?
Measure the finished opening in millimetres at more than one point. If the opening is not square, use the Measure & Fit guidance and contact support before ordering rather than guessing.
Is installation included?
No. Products are sold for self-installation or installation by an independent third party. Review the Installation Policy before ordering.
How long does a custom order take?
The current Shipping Policy advises allowing approximately five to seven weeks for factory production, quality testing and dispatch.
Can a custom cut-to-size screen be returned?
Custom cut-to-size products are generally non-refundable unless the product was cut incorrectly by the team relative to the measurements supplied. Read the Returns & Refund Policy before purchase.
What should I do if the order arrives damaged?
Inspect the order before installation and report transit damage with clear photos within the period stated in the Shipping Policy. Do not drill, alter or install a damaged product.
